Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Cher's Closet for using the app. They are written in plain language on purpose. Please read them before relying on anything in the app.

What Cher's Closet is

Cher's Closet is a personal wardrobe app. You upload photos of your clothes, and the app helps you organise them, build outfits, plan what to pack for a trip, and see where the gaps in your wardrobe are.

It is a styling tool, not a shop. We do not sell clothing and we do not deliver anything you buy elsewhere.

Your account

Access is by invitation: you need a valid invite code to create an account.

Give accurate details, keep your password secure, and keep your login to yourself. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

You must be 16 or older to use Cher's Closet.

Your photos and content

Everything you upload stays yours. You give us permission to store, copy, and process your photos and wardrobe details only so that we can run the app for you, for example to show a garment, build an outfit, or create a packing list.

If you choose to feature a look publicly, or share a wishlist link, you give us permission to display those items on our public pages until you switch that setting off.

Only upload photos you have the right to use. Do not upload images of other people, or anything illegal, hateful, or harmful.

Styling suggestions and AI

Outfit suggestions, packing lists, colour analysis, trend notes, and resale listing drafts are generated suggestions. They can be inaccurate or unsuitable for you.

They are not professional advice, and they are not a promise that an item will fit, suit you, or be worth buying. Use your own judgement.

Shopping and affiliate links

Some links take you to third-party retailers, and some of them are affiliate links. That means we may earn a small commission if you buy something, at no extra cost to you, and it never changes what we suggest. See our Affiliate Disclosure.

Any purchase is between you and that retailer. Prices, availability, sizing, delivery, returns, and taxes are the retailer's responsibility, not ours.

Resale listings

The app can help you draft a listing for something you no longer wear, but the sale itself happens on the platform you choose. We are not part of that transaction and are not responsible for payment, shipping, descriptions, or disputes with a buyer.

How you may use the app

Use it for your own wardrobe. Please do not break any law, copy or scrape the app, try to reach another person's account or data, upload malicious files or spam, or interfere with how the app runs.

Our content

The app itself, including its design, text, brand, and code, belongs to Cher's Closet. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app. You may not copy it, or use our name or branding, without our permission.

Availability and changes

We may add, change, or remove features, and the app may occasionally be unavailable while we work on it. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or that we reasonably believe is being misused.

Ending your account

You can delete your account in Settings at any time. Your data can be restored for 30 days and is then permanently removed, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Our responsibility

The app is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, for decisions you make based on a suggestion, or for anything that happens on a third-party site you reach through a link.

Nothing in these terms removes or limits any right you have under Canadian consumer protection law, including in British Columbia.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, and the courts of British Columbia have jurisdiction over any dispute.
